The Mask Makers
The Mask Makers:
Engage you creative talents. Use your own face to create masks in an 8-week class at Fine Arts Blount.
Students will be exposed to the cultures of Meso-America and will include an introduction to the Spanish language.
The class will also include an introduction on how to draw a face. Students will be encouraged to use recycled materials in the creation of their mask and will create a totem as a class project. At the conclusion of class the masks will be displayed at Fine Arts Blount.
These classes are taught by Rafael Casco, a member of Fine Arts Blount.
The class will meet Tuesdays from 6-8pm and Saturdays 10am –noon at a cost of $240.
Payments can be made 50% down and 50% halfway through class.
